Description
TRUE 1:1 TFC High Silicate Rejection Membrane -Made in the USA!
***
The 100GPD 1:1 membrane uses the 50GPD Flow Restrictor; BE SURE to get the correct flow restrictor for your RO membrane
Capillary Flow Restrictors easily insert into all 1/4” OD tubing located on the membrane waste line (concentrate line) of reverse osmosis systems.
This high-efficiency RO Membrane makes 1 part of product water for 1 part of waste water (traditional RO membranes makes 1 part of product water for every 3-4 parts of waste water). These top of the line membranes fit any standard residential membrane housing, so you can UPGRADE to an 1 to 1 RO Membrane Today!
This RO Membrane is rated at 100 GPD (or Gallons per Day) - that translates 100 Gallons in 24 hours.
Features
98.6% Stabilized Rejection
Operating pH from 2 to 12 Tolerating a pH of 1 Short Term
Maximum Temperature 110 degrees F
Non-Chlorine Tolerant
Reverse osmosis is the finest level of filtration available. The RO membrane acts as a barrier to all dissolved salts and inorganic molecules, as well as organic molecules. Feed water flows along the membrane surface under pressure. Purified water permeates the membrane and is collected, while the concentrated water, containing dissolved and undissolved material that does not flow through the membrane, is discharged to the waste-water line.
Removes up to 99% of
Calcium, Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium, Manganese, Iron, Aluminum, Copper, Nickel , Cadmium, Silver, Zinc, Mercury, Hardness Ca & Mg, Radioactivity, Chloride, Ammonium, Bromide, Phosphate, Chromate, Cyanide, Sulfate, Thiosulfate, Silicate, Silica, Nitrate , Boron, Borate, Fluoride, Polyphosphate, Orthophosphate, Chromate, Bacteria, Uranium, Arsenic, Lead.

Please note
: the 100GPD 1:1 membrane uses the 50GPD Flow Restrictor for proper operation
** Output based on 65PSI, 77°F, 250ppm TDS water input over a 24-hour period. Lower pressure, cooler water temperature or higher TDS will reduce output. A booster pump is highly recommended if pressure is below 45 PSI.
A couple of things to check when the unit is slowing down after a full filter change
The flow restrictor maybe deformed over time, not providing sufficient back pressure.
Always note, when the incoming water is colder the production of RO water is slower.
Try reinserting the membrane, occasionally this will do the trick.
Make certain the flow restrictor is the correct size for the membrane.
