1969 was BRE's first year racing Datsuns. Frank Monise was Peter Brock's chosen driver as "Frank was the only driver I couldn't beat when I was racing." That first year, BRE won the SCCA's Southern Pacific Coast Division Championship.
Brock was in the mood to celebrate and personally designed this poster at the end of the 1969 season. "I liked the look of using a black and white photo of our champion with the stark and bright solid color below a set of clean and crisp letters".
In preparation of the Mitty 2010 event, where BRE was the featured team, Brock pulled out this favorite poster from BRE's storage trunks and made this perfect, high quality reproduction.
