Description
Handsome fold-out 1974 Exxon road map and travel guide to Washington, D.C., printed more than 47 years ago.The map opens to 25½" x 23½" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.
The map of central Washington, between Georgetown and the Washington Navy Yard, is on one side, including the White House, Pentagon, Arlington National Cemtery, Union Station, Naval Observatory, embassies, and legations.
There's a regional map on the other side, covering the area from Rockville, Maryland to Mount Vernon, Virginia.
The map was published by Exxon in 1974 and is dated in the legend. The code number on the back cover is W374.
