Handsome fold-out 1974 Exxon road map of Los Angeles and vicinity, printed more than 45 years ago.This map opens to 23½" x 34" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.
Among the named places and features on the map are Pasadena, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Whittier, San Bernardino, Hollywood, Ahaheim, Beverly Hills, Downey, Glendale, Redlands, Burbank, and Inglewood.
The map also shows on-and-off features on area freeways: 4-way connections, limited connections, and no connections.
The map was distributed by Exxon in 1974 and is dated in the legend. It is copyrighted

and the code number on the back cover is W1173.
The front cover artwork features Exxon's trademark tiger, two gas pumps, and a service station attendant.
