    2 Handmade Bird Suet Cakes Plus Bird Suet Feeder Cage
    Our suet cakes are made with mainly rendered beef suet and are filled with premium seed, peanut butter, dried fruits and nuts. Dried fruits include but are not limited to apples, raisins, cranberries and cherries. On occasion we may add crushed egg shells for calcium. No sugar is added and no fillers are used. Your birds will love it especially when the weather is cold. It is a great healthy source of food that will provide them with the calories they need to survive the cold weather and take them into breeding season. Suet cakes bought at your local store have filler ingredients thus calling their suet "no melt". They are highly processed and are unhealthy for the birds. Even though our suet cakes are not considered “no melt”, they have been proven to withstand the hot heat of Louisiana. Keep in mind though items do melt faster in high humidity so please decide on your purchase keeping your environment in mind. Keeping it in the refrigerator or freezer until the weather conditions are compatible may be a good solution. Each cake is handmade to order guaranteeing freshness. They measure approximately 4.5" x 4.75" x 1.4" and fit standard suet cages. Storing them in the refrigerator or freezer until use helps keep them fresh and easier to handle when placing them in the suet cage. Because they are handmade, the suet cake(s) you receive may look different than the one pictured. Please message us if you have any questions. Listing is for two suet cakes and cage.     IF ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED:  I take all precautions to see your item arrives to you safely and in one piece.  If the item is broken and includes insurance (all priority shipments include insurance) you will need to send me detailed pictures of the broken item and packaging.   A claim will be filed with USPS.  You MUST hang on to the item and packaging until I advise you what to do with it because the post office MAY require you to take it up there as part of the claim process. No refunds will be issued until after the insurance claim is processed.  This can take 1-2 weeks.  I apologize for having to handle it this way.  I have had several buyers after receiving their refund discard the item and packaging and not respond to my requests resulting in my claim being denied.
