Holds should be positioned so the mounting screw or bolt enters the wall as close to a 90 degree angle as possible.  Be careful not to over tighten the screws or bolts, too much pressure could cause the hold to fracture.  At first, tighten the screws or bolts just enough to make the holds usable for light climbing.  Then tighten them a little at a time, and be sure to check them before each climb.  Most climbing walls are build using 3/4" plywood.  If you are planning on mounting the holds to a different type of surface, you should consult a licensed contractor for assistance.
I do not include the hardware since you can buy it as cheaply as I can, and I'd have to raise my prices to cover the extra costs.  The screw-on holds are set up to use a 3/16" diameter deck screw, and the bolt-on holds are set up to use a 3/8" allen head bolt with a t-nut.  I don't recommend purchasing the hardware until after you receive the hand holds.  I'm limited to the sizes and shapes Mother Nature provides, so you will need a variety lengths.  Most climbing walls are built using 3/4" plywood.  If you are planning to mount the holds on a different surface, check with a licensed contractor for assistance.
The rock hand holds shown in this ad are examples of holds that were previously created and sold.  Your hand holds will be a little different since no 2 rocks are the same.  The carbineer shown in the photos is 4" long, and is for reference only and not included in the sale.

Since I custom make each hold by hand, it does take a little longer for me to complete each order.  To be safe I've listed the eBay shipping time as 10 days, but it's almost never that long.  Lately, I have been able to ship orders in the 4 to 5 day range.
As a retired Firefighter I understand the value of quality equipment.  Rest assured that every hold you receive has been held in my hand and quality checked.  I do my best to select rocks that appear to be free of fracture lines or other obvious defects.  However, since these are real rocks it's impossible to be 100% sure there are no internal weaknesses.  If you find a hold that you are uncomfortable with, or have a hold that breaks, be sure and let me know and I will replace it free of charge.
