    Super-rare special event poster for the 2018 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca. In addition to the usual slate of competitive vintage races, the event celebrated the motorsport history of Nissan and Datsun. The poster features the #46 Datsun 510 that Peter Brock and Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) built and raced with John Morton as its driver. The team won the 1971 and 1972 SCCA Trans Am Under 2.5 Liter Championship, with the first considered a major upset. Few race fans thought the little Datsun from Japan could match the pace of the Alfas and BMWs, so its success earned it the reputation as "giant killer" among American racing fans. To this day it remains one of the most recognizable and honored racing cars of all time, and it established Nissan/Datsun as an accomplished performance brand.
    Nissan and Datsun were the first Asian automobile marques to be featured at RMMR since the event began in 1974. With more than 200 IMSA sports car victories and 100-plus SCCA National Championships, many of the stars and the cars of Nissan’s past racing success were racing or on display. Luminaries at the event include John Morton, Peter Brock, Steve Millen and Adam Carolla.
