    Product Feature
LOCOA® (Esflurbiprofen), a transdermal patch, developed to help osteoarthritis patients relieve pain that affects their daily movements and activities. Osteoarthritis is a common joint disease and is one of the largest contributors to global disability.
When a person is diagnosed with osteoarthritis, it is likely that pain will appear more often, so early preventive measures should be taken even if there is no cure for the disease, but we can see the level of treatment has improved in recent years and benefits have been gained when starting treatment at an early stage.
The disease is most common in men before the age of 45 and women after the age of 45. Among the common symptoms experienced by osteoarthritis patients include joint pain, joint spasm, swelling, loss of function, changes in joint appearance, decreased joint strength, knee tingling or pain when around the joint is pressed.
How do you use Locoa Patch?
Relief of pain & inflammation associated w/ OA.
Adult Apply to affected area once daily.
Max: Not >2 patches at once or daily.
View Locoa overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.
How long does it take for transdermal patches to work?
Up to a full day (24 hours) may pass before the first dose begins to work. Your doctor may need to adjust the dose during the first few weeks before finding the amount that works best for you.
    Is Flurbiprofen Anti-Inflammatory?
Flurbiprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve symptoms of arthritis (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.
    Are Transdermal Patches Safe?
People who use transdermal patches can suffer an overdose if the patch is broken or cut open; too much medicine gets on and through the skin. Wearing too many patches can cause an overdose, too. Children have been poisoned by skin patches in a number of ways: Taking skin patches from the trash and sucking on them.
