These 7" x 10" bags are great for shipping, fish auctions and in-house sales. The bags allow carbon dioxide produced by your fish to pass out through the bag and allow oxygen back in through the bag without any loss of water. The bags can be completely filled with water to give your fish a larger volume of fresh water during transit. Fish are subjected to less stress during travel since there is no need for air in the bags, they are cushioned by water rather than the sloshing around that occurs in a conventional poly bag that contains air or oxygen. 1.5 mil bag thickness with a single HEAVY-DUTY bottom seal (see photo) for leak-free shipping. Bags can be sealed with rubber bands or heat-sealed. Neatly packaged in a heat-sealed, sanitary poly bag for easy and convenient worry-free storage. Free shipping via USPS Mail w/ tracking. Your bags will ship the same or next day!!! (excluding Sundays and Post Office Holidays)
Note: For best performance, these bags should be filled to desired level with water, no air space is needed. The bags should not be tied or sealed too taut.  They should have some flex in them.  When a sealed bag is placed on a table you should be able to push on it with your finger tip so it looks like a small pillow with the impression made from your finger tip resembling the shape left from a human head that has been resting on the pillow.  Bags that are too taut are subject to holes from fish spines or bursting if the box is dropped from a significant height. These bags will survive a repeated drop test from one foot.  For greater durability during shipment the bags should be heat sealed on both sides before filling with water.  They will then survive a repeated drop test from waist height.  Handling of packages during shipment can be brutal by all carriers, so it is recommended to heat seal these bags on both sides before use.
