    Description

This is a specialty tool used in the stringing of koto (Japanese 13 string harp).  It is made of a very hard black rosewood and has a lead core to give it more power.  When stringing a koto one would use this tool to pull the stings tight.
Overall length is 8 1/2" with a diameter of 1"
(21 x 2.4 cm) .  With the exception of a slight crack at one end it is still in very good condition.
