    Description

    ESTATE FRESH TO MARKET from mid 19th Century Edo Period Japan a lovely cast Bronze Mirror of museum quality, silvered on the reverse and signed by the master Mirror Maker (in Japanese that would be  a Kagamishi) Fujiwara Mitsumasa.
    The mirror is 6.5" in diameter and measures overall about 10.5".  (You can view a similar mirror by this maker in the Hessisches Landesmuseum in Darmstadt Germany).  Note the family crest at top of mirror, two feathers or leaves in a clipped edge diamond.
    This is a fine Japanese Antique piece Estate Fresh at a very low price.
