Antique japanese sword mumei with detailed water buffalo menuki

Description

Antique Japanese sword. I was told it was Shinto Era mumei. Unsigned or cut down. It has one flaw on the side of the blade. No problems with the cutting edge. The rayskin is old and cracked or missing in areas. The ito wrap is torn or cut in areas. The menuki are highly detailed water buffalo. One has come loose but the other is still under the wrap. The sword is tight in the mounts but the tsuba is loose. The Saya is wire wrapped wood.
