6 x Sliding Mouse Guards Travel Gates
Keep those nasty little critters away from your loved ones, and also use this as a travel gate!!
These differ from the more traditional kind of mouse guard. They can be slid on and off whenever required to reduce the entrance access, but ALSO used to close the entrance access by simply using the reverse edge. Very useful for moving colonies or just temporarily keep everybody indoors!!
These will fit National hive floors, but the wooden end sliders can be easily cut down to fit Langstroth hives.
Made from sturdy chew proof galvanized steel, and measuring 390mm long by 60mm wide, it comes complete with wooden frame runners and bead to pin below hive entrance.
The holes are ample size to allow bees freely in and out, and can also assist bees in protecting their entrance from raiding wasps by reducing entrance size towards the end of the season. They are easily fitted, but instructions are provided if needed.
