Birds, rats, mice and rabbits have very well developed hearing, and they are constantly monitoring their environment for possible sources of danger.   If they hear the sound of one of their natural predators, or the sound of another animal being attacked, their natural instinct is to flee the area as quickly as possible.  Many birds, including sparrows, pigeons, starlings, crows, magpies, and most rodents has often attacked by predator birds such as the hawk or owl.
The
Birdchaser
uses digitally enhanced recordings of actual
predator birds, and supplements this with a new recording of birds in distress
, to trick pests into believing that they are in great and imminent danger. This makes them flee the area at once, and if they return, they will hear the same sounds again.
Exploiting these predatory tendencies, the
Birdchaser
will produce the predatory calls on the hawk (eagle), falcon and owl species to scare unwelcome birds such as sparrows, blackbirds, pigeons, crows, starlings and various other birds away from your property.  This humane and environment-friendly method will solve your pest bird problem without harm to humans and other creatures.  In addition, it can also deter open field rodents and rabbits.  With the
PIR
function, the
Birdchaser
can be used as a special security device.  It will sense any intruder’s movement and activate the
Birdchaser
.  A volume adjustment knob is available.

These include Sparrow, Blackbird, Pigeon, magpies, Crow, Starling, most small birds and other pest birds, also deters farms rats, rodents, rabbits, squirrels, small animals that are scared of predatory birds.
INSTALLATION
1-Attach the Birdchaser to a post or wall where a power source is accessible.  Plug the adapter into the power socket.
I
t is suggested to set to PIR mode first to adjust the desired volume and
then set the Mode switches and knobs according to your requirement.
2-When set to
PIR
Mode, it takes about 45 seconds of warm-up time to hear the first calls. The
Birdchaser
will cover a fan-shape area of 130º at a distance of up to 30 feet.  The LED light is lit continuously.  When a bird flies into the coverage area, the
Birdchaser
will broadcast the predatory calls to scare the intruder away.  You may adjust the volume knob to suitable loudness.  Time Interval is not functional in the
PIR
Mode.
3-When set to
AUTO
Mode, the LED indicator flashes at a speed based on the Time Interval.  The longer the interval time, the slower the flashing will be.  The Time Interval can be set from 5 to 30 minutes by adjusting the knob clockwise.  Similarly, you may also adjust the volume control.  The
Birdchaser
will broadcast predatory calls every 5 to 30 minutes automatically.
4-A built-in photocell will disable the
Birdchaser
when it is dark as activities of most birds are reduced.  You may also turn off the
Birdchaser
by switching to the OFF position.
5-For a
small
area or when used for security purposes, it is suggested to use the
PIR
Mode.  For best results, hang the
Birdchaser
1 to 2.5 meters above ground.  Avoid obstructions within the operating area of the device.
6-For
larger
areas such as farms, orchards or big yards, it is recommended to use the
AUTO
Mode and adjust the Time Interval according to your needs.
7-It is also recommended that you experiment with various locations to find the most effective position to install the
Birdchaser
.

Note about Device:
All ultrasonic devices takes between 2-4 weeks to work effectively in most cases. However, in some cases it may be instant if pest has not developed resistance to the ultrasonic sound from another location (most people use ultrasonic devices in their properties nowadays hence there is high risk of resistance forming to the sound). Ultrasonic / electromagnetic devices are 88% effective; better than chemical and traditional means that stands at 80% ratio. It is consequential to be patient for the device to work properly and for you to experience desired result. There would be an increase in pest activities during the first few days of use. They are simply moving around from one spot to another looking for a safe haven or trying to figure out what sort of sound is discomforting them. At the same time,
it is your duty
to eliminate their source of entry, food, pleasure and comfort to keep them at bay. Otherwise, they would not leave even though the device is on;
AND WOULD PREFER TO DIE RATHER THAN LEAVE THEIR FOOD AND PLEASURE BEHIND!!!
Thus patience is not only required but vital.Anyone looking for a magic wand ultrasonic / electromagnetic device to repel pests should not buy this product as there isn't ANY anywhere in the world.
It
takes 2-4 weeks to see desired results and its of course safer, cleaner and about 10% better than chemical and traditional means.
