    Description

    A family member found this on a beach many years ago and saved it; it's a large black coral branch.  It looks whitish and weathered on the outside but it was cut to reveal a black interior with the distinctive concentric rings of coral.  This piece weighs a bit over 6 oz on a postal scale and is 8 1/2 inches long.  It should go to someone with the expertise to create something lovely from it.
