    Description

NEW - Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA),  Kabul Country Office (KCO) w/ Sniper Scope Coin.  Made in the USA.  This coin is VERY rare and VERY sought after.  The pictures don't do this coin any justice.  I purchased the die for these coins in 2009 when we designed this coin.   The coin(s) will be shipped USPS First Class with a flat rate of .00.  I will not charge additional shipping for additional/multiple coins purchased.
This listing is for (1) DEA Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Kabul Country Office (KCO) sniper scope challenge coin. I designed this coin with the craftsman at the Northwest Territorial Mint.  This coin was minted using the highest quality of materials available. These coins were minted in limited numbers and for the DEA Kabul Country Office in Afghanistan.   This coin was
minted in USA and costs around 5x more than the Chinese made coins but with that cost comes a much higher overall quality product.
The coin features a date of October 26th 2009, which marks the day a US helicopter crashed following a firefight, killing a total of 7 American Servicemen and 3 of our DEA Special Agents whom were returning to base from the Joint Counter-Narcotics Operation in Western Afghanistan.
The coin measures 44.5 millimeters or 1.75 inches in diameter and feature two crossed rifles with a skull on the left and opium poppy bulbs on the right.
    The coins are
made of a high quality nickel alloy and given an antique finish in order to enhance the details. They are given a beautiful yet durable baked on enamel finish using 4 different colors that were painted on by hand.  The coin features a sniper scope reticle  (cross-hairs) that was pressed into the opening in the coin and then sealed into place.
