For use with Aquatic Life RO Buddie Reverse Osmosis Units. Not to be used as an inline refrigerator filter, max working pressure is 35 psi. Now filled with color changing deionization resin, a high-quality resin mixture for direct purification of water. The residuals produce average conductivity values of about 0.1us/ cm for a major portion of the service run which may be extended depending up on the final acceptable water quality - Clear cylinder housing with one white connection port on each end - Blue resin visible through the cylinder - Includes two clips for mounting to an Aquatic Life RO Buddie.
New Improved Housing
The opaque cartridge housing is made with a durable polyethelyene to help prevent cracking if the cartridge is accidently dropped. The special housing also allows easy viewing of the resin when it is depleted.
Pre-Installed 1/4" Press Fit Connectors
Each cartridge includes pre-installed 1/4" Press Fittings that accept standard 1/4" tubing. Simply remove the pre-installed plug and insert the tubing for a watertight connection.
Color Changing Mixed Bed Resin
Aquatic Life uses a combination of Cationand Anion resins to remove Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from water as it passes through the cartridge. The resin changes to a tan color when it needs changing.
Membrane Clips Included
Each cartridge includes two clips that allow the cartridge to be attached to a standard membrane housing. Simply clip onto the housing and quickly add another level of filtration to your RO unit.
RO Buddie Replacement
This inline resin cartridge is a direct replacement for the RO Buddie DI cartridge. Simply remove the tubing from both ends of the exhausted cartridge and install the fresh cartridge.
Tight Plugs = Wet Resin
Keeping the resinmoist is necessary for the resin to keep it's electrical charge. Otherwise the Cation and Anions won't work. This is why the cartridges use tight-sealing plugs on the ends.
