I collected this huge, beautiful collectible authentic surf-tumbled dried/dead brain coral on one of our Virgin Islands rocky beaches.

Wish I could figure out whether this coral fragment has recently broken off the reef or whether it might be a fossil millions of years old

I soaked it in rain water to remove any parasitic organisms that may have been present.
