Large (4.5 inches) odd shape, order of the Emerald Shellback challenge coin. Full color, engravable blank raised metal spots, post card shaped about 3x4.5 inches.
Coast Guard challenge coins: Emerald shellbacks (crossing the Equator at the Prime Meridian) often compared to the Golden Shellbacks, which is awarded for crossing the Equator at the International Date Line (180th meridian).
While both are rare and notable, the Emerald Shellback is considered the more exclusive and coveted honor due to its unique location and navigational challenge.
