    Description

LIFE SIZE STAR TREK POSTER COMMANDER SPOCK 70X26 THE FINAL FRONTIER BLACK WHITE. Commander Spock measures 5-ft 2 in the poster when his actual height would have been 6-ft 1 with his shoes. The actual image size is 24x65 and there is a tear up above and into Spocks forehead which could be repaired from the back with tape. The image is very sharp as originally printed with no spots or damage other than a small tear in Spocks right leg. Of course after all these years (55), the paper is quite fragile so handle with great care. The outer edge/border of the print has tape, tape marks, and some tears and deterioration, but the print itself, as I mentioned, is very sharp and no damage other than the aforementioned tears. Having a near life-size image is quite enjoyable when compared with a smaller poster. Star Trek aired on NBC from September 8, 1966, to June 3, 1969. Spock was a Vulcan and unlike a human, could go up to two weeks without sleep and survive with very little water. On his home planet, life expectancy was over 200 years (not sure if that was earth time or Vulcan time, ha! The first generation Star Trek was set in the 23rd century, not sure if we'll make it that far.
