    Description

This is a magnetic layered float switch holder. It has a center track allowing the positioning of multiple float switch holders (like shelves). It is a very modular design that allows the positioning of the holders virtually anywhere on the track. This way you can accurately measure the distance you want the switches to be at and manage your volumes much better. The design allows for about 7" of distance between the top most to bottom most switch. There's also an extension available which allows another about 6". The extensions are held in place with an adapter and are virtually endless. The magnets are pre-coated resin neodymium N50 high strength magnets capable of holding on less than 1/2" glass (1/2" will probably work).
    Printed out of PLA.
High quality strong N50 pre-coated neodymium magnets.
Designed for float switches with thread diameters of 7.5mm or 9.5mm.
Cable routing holes on holders and the top allow for easy cable management.
The layered holder comes in the following packages:
Base package: This includes the basic 7" holder with two switch holders.
Extension package: This is just the extension with two switch holders and an extension adapter that will allow you to attach it to a base.
Full Package: This is the base and extension package combined. This gives maximum length with four total float holders.
If you want individual float holders you can
    find them here
    .
If you do not specify a color during checkout black ones will be sent.
Float switches are not included, they're pictured for reference.
Check my other listings for 3D printed reefing equipment. I will accept reasonable offers for multiple things bought from me.
Please note that these are 3D printed parts. That means that the surface finish quality of the part will not be directly comparable to an injection molded part. Although not very common, there might be small surface finish defects, or rough spots. The goal is to have a fully functional, as described part. This disadvantage to 3D printing is reflected on my pricing as well. Polished surface finishes, is definitely something that can be achieved to a certain degree with 3D printed parts, but it's a time consuming process, something that definitely cannot be offered for the price range my products go for.
Material Selection: Some arguments have been made about pigmentation in PLA filament and it's effects in water in case of leeching. You can order “Clear (transluscent)” parts which is PLA free of any pigments. Just leave a note in your order that you want "Clear" parts. I have personally used black PLA in my tank for many years with nothing but success. You can also ask for PETG if you are concerned about durability of the PLA part. Just contact me.
If you have a color preference please make sure to put it on the "note to seller" field during checkout. If you do not do that, I
will use the default black color and
I may not be able to honor any request you have after your payment is complete.
