    Looney Tunes - Daffy Duck
Vintage 3.9 China (1988-1990) - Thin Feet - Solid Beak
    No Packaging
The first Looney Tunes characters hit the shelves in 1978 and has been a perennial favorite. Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Tweety, Daffy Duck, Merlin Mouse, and Speedy Gonzales were the first issues (no feet). Foghorn Leghorn, Roadrunner, Wile E. Coyote, Petunia Pig, Cool Cat, and Henry Hawk were added to the mix in 1980.  In 1987, they added thin feet to all existing designs. In 1990, a new China plant ushered in the 4.9 patent stems and thick feet.  Many designs were stopped until the factories could be retooled. In 1991 Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck came online with 4.9 stems but the old design. These were redesigned in 1995.  In 1996 Tazmanian Devil and Yosemite Sam were added to the Looney Tunes line which prompted a remake of Speedy Gonzales & Sylvester.  A sweeping style design came along in 2002 with the issuance of a new basic design along with two special series: The "Cool" Looney Tunes and the Looney Tunes "Back in Action" series.
This listing is for the Vintage 3.9 China edition (Solid Beak) of Daffy Duck (1988-1990) with Thin Feet. This is the "B" version that followed the 3.9 Austria/Hong Kong/China split beak variety. This item comes with no packaging, in other words - loose.
