    Description

    Great odditie collectible -- RARE!  This is an 1880-1890's Victorian handle bar mustache/hair curling iron with steel structure and sterling silver handle that belonged to my grandmother.  Has a raised purple jewel (costume) at the end.  There's nothing like it ANYWHERE!   Very clean, intact...minimal tarnish.  Marked "sterling" on the back of the handle.  Measures 6-1/4".  Good spring action, mother of pearl button on thumb rest.  No maker/manufacturer marks.  Made in USA.
