This is the more rare very first iPod Steve Jobs announced to the world 20 years ago. It holds 10GB of music (over 1,500 songs), twice the memory of the more common 5GB. Both were sold in 2002 and have the spinning wheel (or scroll wheel; not the later 2nd generation touch wheel). The scroll wheel is what confirms this is a 1st generation iPod, that and the M8541 and 10GB on the back.
iPod has been fully serviced and a new battery installed.
Synced to iTunes and over 1,500 songs loaded to test; new battery installed.
GREAT GIFT - Arrives packed in a hard clear plastic storage box (see photo), ready to wrap.
The outside case is original/used and will show normal wear.
