Small Half-Sphere Frag Rack - 3D Printed - Many Colors

Description

This is a uniquely shaped half-spherical frag rack. It allows for a lot of versatility with different uses. You can use it to create a “zoa island” isolated from the rest of the rock work and coral. The spherical design allows for multiple frags in a small area with smaller chance of touching each other making it ideal for small spaces as well. This part is solid printed and will sink in water.

Holds up to 7 standard sized frags.

Frag holes are 15mm.
Sphere dimensions are ~4″x2″.
If no color is specified in the order note a black one will be sent out by default.

Clear PLA, i.e. PLA with no color pigmentation added which makes it translucent, is also available. Leave a note with your order that you want "Clear" as color if desired.

Please note that these are 3D printed parts. That means that the surface finish quality of the part will not be directly comparable to an injection molded part. Although not very common, there might be small surface finish defects, or rough spots. The goal is to have a fully functional, as described part. This disadvantage to 3D printing is reflected on my pricing as well. Polished surface finishes, is definitely something that can be achieved to a certain degree with 3D printed parts, but it's a time consuming process, something that definitely cannot be offered for the price range my products go for.
Material Selection: Some arguments have been made about pigmentation in PLA filament and it's effects in water in case of leeching. You can order “Clear (transluscent)” parts which is PLA free of any pigments. Just leave a note in your order that you want "Clear" parts. I have personally used black PLA in my tank for many years with nothing but success. You can also ask for PETG if you are concerned about durability of the PLA part. Just contact me.
