Description
HS3E/4E The heater heats up faster than any other heat-seal on the market, under 4 minutes and now will hold its temperature within a tighter range (5 degrees) Platens The hs3e and hs4e come standard with a 4? x 5? platen. The platen can easily be raised or lowered to help create the optimal pressure for various thicknesses of garments. Thermopatch also manufacturers optional sizes of platens, these are ideal for smaller labels where you can match the size of the platen to the size of the label. Models The hs3e is a manually opening heat-seal and makes a beeping sound when the time cycle is finished. Simply lift the handle up when the sound is heard. The hs4e is an automatically opening heat-seal. This feature enables the worker to do other functions while the label is sealing without the worry of leaving the heat platen on the material any longer then the pre-set time cycle. The HS3E and HS4E Heat Seal Machines are manually operated, and provide heat, time, and pressure required for the application of a wide variety of Thermopatch products including: mending materials, emblems, label tapes, and transfers. Platen The Heat Seal Machines come standard with a 4?x5? platen. The platen can be raised or lowered to help create the best pressure for the actual thickness of the garment. Thermopatch also manufactures optional sizes of platens, which are ideal for smaller labels and allow the user to match the size of the platen to the size of the label. Variable Temperature Set Point Each machine has a variable temperature set point depending on the type of material the label is to be installed on. The Temperature Range can be set from 69-446o F. Power Saver Feature The HS3E and HS4E Heat Seal Machines have a ?Power Saver? energy feature. The machine heater element will be de-energized after a preset time and cool down to room temperature. This will occur when the preset ?Power Saver Time? has elapsed. The HS3E or HS4E can be reactivated by lowering the Seal Arm Handle of the machine. Once the Seal Arm Handle is lowered into the ?Locked? position, the machine will exit the ?Power Saver Mode?. The Heater Element of the machine will become re-energized and increase in temperature to the preset ?Power Saver Temperature?. Upon achieving the preset ?Power Saver Temperature?, the Sealing Cycle Timer will begin counting down to zero seconds. Manual Operation The HS3E machine is manually activated by lowering the Seal Arm Handle to a locked position. Upon completion of the Sealing Cycle, an alarm buzzer sounds signaling the operator to MANUALLY raise the Seal Arm Handle. The Lower Press Platen will now be open and the sealed article can be removed. Automatic Operation The HS4E machine is manually activated by lowering the Seal Arm Handle to a locked position. Upon completion of the Sealing Cycle, the HS4E machine will AUTOMATICALLY raise the Seal Arm Handle (assistance from the operator is not necessary). The Lower Press Platen will now be open and the sealed article can be removed. The alarm buzzer sounding is a warning that the machine has failed to open normally. 4 Package Contents The Machine Package includes the following items ? HS3E or HS4E Heat Seal Machine ?
