Unique 22 Piece Collection of Stunning Red Coral Specimen Natural Rare

I was captivated by this collection of red coral when I first saw it and greatly admire it to this day.
The complexity of patterning, the surreal little world of shape and form each piece creates in my mind.
Like a Dali painting inspired by the dream of a lobster.
Strung on a cord and graduating in size like a necklace although that was surely for convenience and would need to be secured to wear because of its relative fragility / the knot just might not hold up with long period supporting its weight.
I know nothing more about its history or origin than that it is a stunning collection like I have never seen. I purchased it at an antique store. The pieces have some edges that are imperfect from wear. See the closer photos for an idea of the integrity of the edges. Normal wear for its age at places that protrude / edges.
I purchase outstanding pieces to costume art photography and am selling a select group of my collection at the cost I purchased them for to fund new work. This piece has only been handled on set.
