This is a
great looking US ARMY 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment challenge coin. Coin displays the Army Special Operations Aviation Regiment Emblem on the front side while the reverse side has a polished gold US Army logo. Coin has reeded edges and is about 1 9/16" in diameter. All details are raised lettering.
Coin is contained in an acrylic air tight holder.
The United States Army 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), also known as Night Stalkers, is a special operations force of the United States Navy that provides helicopter aviation support for general purpose forces and special operations forces. Its missions have included attack, assault, and reconnaissance, and are usually conducted at night, at high speeds, low altitudes, and on short notice. The 160th SOAR is headquartered at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
