Vintage 1930s Old Spice Talcum Bottle - No Stopper
This is a pottery bottle used in the earliest production of Old Spice Talcum Powder.  Made for the Shulton Company by Hull Pottery, these bottles were in use from 1938 until 1944, when rising demand for Old Spice required a switch to using more consistent glass-type bottles.
This bottle is in nice vintage condition, with no cracks or breaks.  Significant crazing is present, and the bottle has some manufacturing flaws and some staining; the bottom edge is a bit dinged up with some chips and flaking.  It still has the original paper label on the bottom identifying it as "Early American Old Spice", made in the USA by Shulton Inc.  It is missing the original stopper, and is nearly full of product.
