VTG Na Und? Ludwig Lehner Mens Trachten Embellished Shirt West Germany.
This shirt has ornate metal patches at the band collar and cuffs.
There is also elaborate trim throughout, including the hidden button placket.
Woven jacquard, mother of pearl buttons.
There are 2 large pockets on the front that button up into 4 smaller pockets. I’m sure there is a specific purpose for them but I don’t know what it is. If you do, please message me and let me know.
I’m not sure that it is a purely traditional piece of trachten but a combination of traditional costume and high fashion.
It is a piece of history either way being that it was made in WEST GERMANY.
I date it to the 1980s.
