    Description

    Up for sale is a
    vintage wind-up shaver made by Brevete S.G.D.G. and made in Monaco. This shaver is in very good condition, with the caveats indicated below.
    I remember this was originally advertised as being used in space by NASA, although I think that's hardly likely, as it's fairly heavy, and has no provision for capturing the loose hair clippings which, according to my freshman physics, would then float around in the spacecraft.
    It is an interesting item though

    On the plus side, the wind-up mechanism works quite well, and the blades look clean enough.
    On the negative side, the plastic case itself is slightly discolored with age, although the color is more gray than the brownish in the pictures. Also there is a 0.08” gap (2.1 mm) at the top of the case due to distortion, again probably caused by age. Please take note of the pictures.
    As regards payment, I'm still a little confused by eBay's new rules, but I accept PayPal. If eBay says something else works, then that's OK.
    This item will be shipped in a 9” x 9” x 4” box to provide adequate padding to protect it, and the package will weigh approximately 1 lb., 14 oz. I've never had a complaint about poor packing and I don't intend to start now. I ship international through eBay Global Shipping only. Local pick-up is always OK, but the sale must be completed through eBay.
