    Item Description :
    This is a set of 5 vintage Japanese wooden teacup saucers of Sanuki lacquer ware, which was made about 40-50 years ago.
    They are made of natural wood, and coated with high quality Japanese lacquer.
    A flower is hand-carved and painted by Maki-e technique on the upper side. This kind of teacup saucer, 'CHATAKU' is used for sencha.  Chataku is esensial item to drink sencha.
    The signature of the artisan is carved on the bottom.
    Sanuki lacquer ware has been made in Kagawa prefecture, Japan.
